RICHARDS ON RICHARDS is one of the largest and best-known nightclubs in downtown Vancouver and often plays host to many big-name acts in the city. Friday and Saturday nights feature two of the biggest party nights in the city- Bounce and Chaos- that are both extremely popular so make sure you get there early or expect queues!
At Richards, expect to find a young, attractive and stylish crowd who pack the huge dancefloor to show their moves and strut their stuff. The venue has a dark and sophisticated atmosphere with subtle neon lighting providing a cool setting for a few drinks, a lot of dancing and a great night of partying.
The large central dancefloor is surrounded by two main bars and an additional bottle bar to ensure that refreshments are always on hand and your thirst is always quenched. If you fancy just kicking back and watching the action go on around you, take a wander upstairs where you can find two more bars and an expansive balcony that allows you to admire the moves being displayed on the dancefloor from above.
The large circular balcony provides the perfect place to have a drink and a chat before hitting the floor, or maybe just to spot your partner-of-choice for the evening!
Friday nights are Bounce at Richards, and a must for any urban music fan. DJ's Alibaba - Jial 14 and DJ Dave drop the finest hip-hop, R&B, old-school and reggae around. Unlike many other venues, the music is consistently urban so if that's your thing, head down to Richards and Bounce on a friday! If you prefer to listen to what's currently riding high in the charts, drop in on a Saturday for Chaos, where DJ Dave and Mr Rumble spin Top-40, R&B and Hip-Hop to provide the setting to a party that promises pure madness each and every week.
